Yorkshire is also well known for its proud Chocolate history and our friends at York’s Chocolate Story will happily tell you all about that. We are a part of that history and felt proud to celebrate Yorkshire Day this year. Instead of celebrating just one day, we figured that Yorkshire needs a whole month to be loved and we have a few things lined up this year here at Choc affair!
We are going to be linking up with four of York’s wonderful attractions – The York Maze, York’s Chocolate Story, Web Adventure Park and Beetle Bank Open farm. We are going to be giving away tickets for all of these attractions giving you the chance to celebrate #YorkshireMonth in style! All you need to do is keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages to join in – we will be using the #YorkshireMonth on each post and you can click on that to get involved!
Did you know the White Rose of York (also called the Rose alba or rose argent), a white heraldic rose, is the symbol of the House of York and has since been adopted as a symbol of Yorkshire as a whole.
