Seeing as it’s the season for baking, and the Great British Bake Off returns; we thought it was only right to share with you our favourite chocolate dessert recipes! The best chocolate desserts are easy to make, look the part and taste incredible; so we’ve tried and tested a few (and come up with our own), and now we are going to share our top picks!

Our designer, Lisa, tried this recipe at home; and immediately fell in love! With her partner loving anything with cherries in it, and having a LOT of chocolate to bake with; she found this recipe and decided to give it a go; especially as there were only 4 ingredients! However, rather than using dark chocolate, she actually used milk chocolate (as it’s what she had in), and just altered the amount of cream slightly. The bar itself is extremely indulgent, and you don’t need much – but the good thing is, they last a good while!

These stunning eclairs have a slight twist, and were part of our #FlavourFocus for May this year. Everyone has a stigma around choux pastry; but it is actually really easy to do! And once filled with whipped cream, a sweet rhubarb puree, and topped with our rhubarb milk chocolate – it makes one of the best chocolate desserts.

This is one of Linda’s favourites; this easy chocolate roulade is done in about 30 minutes, and is a total crowd pleaser! Linda has tried it with different types of our dark chocolate; but you can just go classic is you prefer. It’s great for after your Sunday lunch; but Linda usually makes one for her family BBQ’s.

We had the pleasure of meeting Nancy at the opening of the Yorkshire Baking Club; she really is an incredible baker, and has so many great quick fixes in her Kitchen Rescue. All of her recipes are delightful, but this really is the ultimate chocolate cake recipe, with a hint of sweet lemon, and the texture of rich, indulgent chocolate. It looks simply beautiful!

We created this recipe originally as an idea as a handmade Father’s Day gift; but it really is wonderful for any time of year – and so easy to do! It’s one of our favourites as we think that mango and chocolate are a winning combination every time; even though many people might not think of putting them together.

This chocolate cake recipe is a dream; with a slightly sunken, moist centre, and topped with whipped cream; the combination of the textures and flavours is heaven sent!

Originally created as a valentine’s dessert; these chocolate brownies are super quick to make, unlike some recipes that can take hours in the oven. The sharp taste from the raspberries matches perfectly to the rich, sweet taste of the moist brownie; and the hint of rose coming from the chocolate just adds that extra bit of flavour.

We just couldn’t do a post on the best chocolate dessert recipes without including millionaire’s shortbread; and this one is just divine; really easy to make, and a classic that everyone loves – you just can’t go wrong!

This recipe get us extremely excited – and we’ve swapped the chocolate to our Salted Caramel chocolate (we just thought it was the right thing to do)! So many textures; the crunchy biscuit, melting chocolate, rich toffee; and the contrast of sweet and salty is simply divine…

We may well have saved the most impressive recipe until last; and if you manage to do this, then your family and friends will be blown away. Just the sound of the recipe makes our mouths water at Choccy HQ, and this chocolate dessert works perfectly with our classic white chocolate.
