Chocolate Porridge

This is a fun way to liven up your morning porridge, and the chocolate makes it feel like a cross between a porridge and a pudding – it is absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

  • 40g porridge oats
  • 30g chocolate – milk 45%, white 35%, dark 60%
  • 300ml milk or a non-dairy alternative

Method

  1. Put the oats and the milk (or non-dairy alternative) into a microwavable dish and heat on full power for 1 minute, stir, then cook for a further minute until it reaches your preferred consistency. If the porridge is a little thick, stir through a little more milk to soften it.
  2. Stir through the chocolate of your choice, leave to stand for one minute and then enjoy!
